New Community Service Initiative

The Facing Differences Challenge encourages elementary students to create self-portraits that can be shared across various communities and cultures. Through the cross-cultural consumption of these portraits, students learn to celebrate differences in culture, ethnicity, language, and personality. Further, for each portrait submitted, the Bezos Family Foundation makes a donation to support peace-building programs in Nigeria, Sri Lanka, and the South Caucasus region of Eastern Europe.
