R.I.S.E. TO RESPONSIBLE BEHAVIOR
What is R.I.S.E.?
The Hardy School faculty encourages members of our school community to "R.I.S.E. to responsible behavior." The R.I.S.E. acronym represents four key values:
Respect for others,
Inclusion of all,
Show safe behavior and
Encouragement of all to participate and solve problems.
R.I.S.E. communicates positive expectations for behavior that are consistent with the tenets of the school-wide Social Competency Program.
Social Competency Program
The Hardy School is a participant in the Reach Out to Schools: Social Competency Program. The goals of this program are:
*to build a cooperative, caring environment in the classroom
*to enhance the communication, social and problem-solving skills of individual students
*to enable student to develop self-control and to take responsibility for their own behavior
