Flyers were distributed to students.  Click here to download another copy.

Join Mr. Winters for a series of Brown Bag Book Club and Writing Seminars this Spring.  Immediately following the Brown Bag Book Club on select Wednesdays, Ben will lead a series of fun and focused "writing labs" for students who want to improve on their favorite (or most-challenging) kind of writing.  Each hour-long writing lab will include a quick lesson, creative exercises, games and a lot of writing.  You MUST sign up in advance to participate.

Feb 29  - 11:15 - noon -  Parents only!   This BBBC is just for you.  Join Ben to learn new techniques for engaging your kids in a book discussion as he dissects a beautiful children’s book. Parents planning to attend, please read Eleanor and Amelia Go For a Ride  in advance of the BBBC.

Feb. 29 - Noon - As promised, Mr. Winters will be in the Library to sign books!  Bring your own book or use the attached form to purchase a copy. All are welcome, so come say “hi” to Mr. Winters.  No sign up needed, just stop in!

The following books, based loosely on a historical theme, will be discussed in the Brown Bag Book Clubs.  Students of all ages/reading abilities AND parents are welcome.  The books increase in difficulty as the weeks progress but ALL are welcome to attend, assuming the book has been read by the student or had it read to them by parents.
